Franchesca D'Amore, JM, BA Founding President/Executive Director
Franchesca D’Amore has a long history of community service and advocacy. Her community service has spanned the arts, education, homelessness, human rights, and health care issues. Community focused, Franchesca has been the Entertainment Director for My Hollywood Pride (2021-2025) and has served on several boards including Secretary of The South Florida Theatre League and Department Chair, Sheridan Technical College (Broward County Public Schools). Franchesca is currently the Vice Chair of the Broward Regional HIV Planning Council, previously serving as the Vice Chair of the Quality Management Committee. She is also a board member of Safe Schools South Florida.
A strong proponent of education, Franchesca is proud of earning her Juris Master in Health Care Regulation from FSU College of Law (highest honors) and attaining her BA from FIU (Cum Laude). Her mission is to use her unique life experiences and education to further inclusivity and equality for the LGBTQ+ community.
Julianna Antill Giordano Secretary
Julianna Giordano is a global real estate advisor and team leader of The Giordano Group with Premier Sotheby's International Realty in Central Florida. Julianna's reputation for precise pricing and strategic market insights consistently helps sellers maximize their returns, and her expert guidance is regularly featured in international publications.
A long-standing advocate for real estate education, Julianna has held roles as an adult educator, former education director, and active industry leader, sharing her expertise in areas such as negotiation, contract law, risk management and technology. Renowned as a top trainer for new agents, Julianna has developed comprehensive courses and authored articles for prominent industry publications.
Having served on various non-profit organizations in a multitude of capacities throughout the years, Julianna is most proud of this one. Having LGBTQIA representation on both sides of her family, and raising her kids to believe that "love truly is love", helping those who struggle to be accepted in a modern world is deeply important to her.
Von Biggs Treasurer
Von Biggs is a Broward County-based community engagement professional, health equity strategist, patient advocate, public speaker, educator and #1 international bestselling author. As a Queer leader, he draws upon lived experience and more than a decade of community engagement to help organizations build trust, address systemic inequities and ensure that people most affected by policies and programs have a meaningful voice in the decisions shaping their lives.
Von’s work brings together health equity, education, patient advocacy and community-centered storytelling. He has worked alongside LGBTQ+ communities, people affected by HIV, students, patients, advocates and health care organizations throughout South Florida and beyond. His approach centers honest conversation, practical education and the belief that lived experience is a valuable form of expertise.
Von is a Bachelor of Arts in Health Services Administration candidate at Keiser University, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026. As a lifelong learner, he understands the power of education to create opportunity, independence and lasting change. This belief connects him deeply to TransEd’s mission of helping transgender and gender-diverse young adults overcome educational barriers and pursue GED completion, higher education and long-term personal and professional goals.
Von’s leadership extends across local, state and national advocacy spaces. He currently serves as Chair of the National HIV & Aging Advocacy Network and previously served for four years as Vice Chair of the Broward County HIV Planning Council. Von brings relevant health and community stories directly to LGBTQ+ audiences as a news anchor for Queer News tonight.
Through his service on the TransEd Board of Directors, Von remains committed to uplifting transgender and gender-diverse individuals, challenging discrimination and helping create pathways toward education, economic independence, leadership and self-advocacy.
