Von Biggs resides in Broward County and, as a Queer individual, has honed the skill of amplifying his voice for the benefit of the underserved. This journey has propelled him into a dynamic advocate, striving to ensure that all individuals are granted a seat at the table. Presently, his primary focus centers on advocating for healthcare equity and addressing critical gaps, including educational opportunities for the transgender community.
In addition to his advocacy work, Von recognizes the profound importance of education in empowering transgender individuals, whether it involves obtaining a GED or pursuing college degrees. This commitment intersects seamlessly with his role within the Broward County HIV Planning Council Vice Chair. Together, this combination is a powerful force for uplifting transgender individuals, equipping them to combat discrimination, attain economic independence, access quality healthcare, and effectively advocate for their rights. Education, when complemented by advocacy, serves not only as a path to knowledge but also as a catalyst for personal growth and societal transformation among our transgender siblings.
